Club Corner
15th November 2012
On Tuesday 13th November the ladies section turned out in force to see in their new captain Jeanette Forrester. As the bag pipes lead her out onto the first tee, I knew we were in for a special day at the club.
Pictured here is Jeanette on the first tee hitting her very first shot under the watchful eyes of the ladies section and onlooking members.
Always a nervous time for any golfer, but Jeanette really did do herself proud with a solid swing and she clipped the ball away to split the fairway. |

All the ladies had a fantastic competition followed by afternoon tea served in the lounge. A very impressive score of 76 points won the competition by Kay Cotton, Dorothy Green, Louise Sheppard and Marie Ann-Patcherbeke.
