HOW TO EXERCISE FOR GOLF - CORE
Tour Professional Vijay Singh works with a heavy medicine ball throughout every tournament week in order to exercise his core.

Vijay does this to improve his driving distance and golf swing speed rapidly. The golf swing is rotational. It's a turn back and a turn through. This is the primary movement, and should be the main focus when doing your core golf training exercises.

Along with strengthening exercises for your core, don't underestimate stretching exercises for the same region. You'll see an improvement in your backswing range of motion and you should also notice a fuller follow through.
